Always in our hearts

This page is dedicated to those who crossed the rainbow and took a piece of my heart with them. The pain is too strong and the time is not really healing much.

I'm not going to write goodbyes, as they are alive in my heart. I see them every day in the little things around me, I see them in the looks or behaviours of our next generations. Every day I feel them next to me.

Pedro

My first shar-pei.

Pedro was born on June 7th 2004 in Rosh-Haain, Israel.

A Traditional Shar-pei expert from Hong-Kong China (place of origin), Eric T. Omura says that Pedro represents the traditional type of Shar-pei and meets the breed standard.

Unfortunately he's not meeting the FCI standard, but he is definitely the founder of AYUSMAT and my personal muse.

Asakti Nanu (Russia import)

Nanu was born on August 13th 2007 in Asakti kennel, located in Volgograd Russia.

Nanu has inherited healthy blood lines and has a great set of genes (she has a blue gene too) and with the right partner, she already brought unique puppies, which, as I hope, will contribute a great deal to Israeli breeding. You can see Nanu's offsprings here.

Nanu has an amazing character -she loves kids, she's cheerful and playful - a great member for every family!

More about Nanu...

ROSY was born on May 10th 2008 in Asakti kennel, located in Volgograd Russia.

Rosy came to Israel in 2008 and she was the only platinum shar-pei there. In 2013 Rosy moved with us to the UK.

We called her Rosy because she was pink when we first saw her and her tiny ears looked like rose petals.

Rosy is a funny little hippo (well, maybe not so little anymore), running around and playing with everyone and anything she can. She loves to snuggle and kiss, she likes a good beauty-sleep and she loves to eat!

Rosy is a Russian Champion, Russian Federation of Dog Lovers Champion, candidate for Russian Club Champion, Israeli Champion and Israeli Grand-Champion.

Ayusmat For She's A Keeper

KEEPER was born on 13th of June 2013 in Israel, in our study, converted to a nursery for a few weeks.

Keeper is a TYPICAL shar-pei, it takes time to earn her trust and love, but once you do - she's the sweetest thing in the world!

Keeper is Rosy's daughter and Nanu's grand-daughter, which makes her a second generation Ayusmat!

She is definitely a mix of both Rosy and Nanu - she got her clumsiness from Rosy and her hunter instincts from Nanu.

Keeper loves walks outdoors, but unlike her sister Fiji, she absolutely hates swimming in the pool (again - TYPICAL shar-pei),  but she does love fooling around with her sister, mum and Teaser.

Keeper is a chocolate horse coat, she also has a very interesting genetic pool, however she had a tragic miscarriage due to infection and had to be spayed.

Now Keeper is enjoying her luxurious sofa life style.
